Hi. Kerry and Joanne from NY here. Supporting the girls at the HOH through the sponsorship program was a no-brainer for us. Both of us were involved with the construction of the HOH and started building our friendships with the girls immediatly. Being part of the VFC family since 2007 has been an awesome experience and a true ” GOD ” thing. Our hearts are in tune with GOD’s word to take care of and love the orphans. Our advice, SUPPORT one of the girls and see how GOD blesses both you and the HOH.
Cindy and Lissette
Hello, my name is Cindy Kurzrock. I am from Franklin, TN. I stayed at the House of Hope for 2 weeks in February 2011 while working on the caretaker house for Willie and Patty. It didn’t take long (maybe 20 minutes or less) to fall in love with these young ladies. Lissette is an inspiration to all young women who have faced adversity. Through her faith in God and a great deal of hard work, she has overcome great challenges and emerged with a loving, generous heart. She was my protector when we were out of the complex and my source of great joy at the house when her eyes would sparkle with loving mischief. Lissette will be a strong, caring school teacher and her future students will be blessed. I am proud to be able to assist in her sponsorship. I pray that God continues to bless this ministry and all of the girls.
